The standard digital output to these media types is Jpeg. We are also able to save in a wide variety of other formats, such as TIFF, PSD, BMP and many others..

Resolution, dpi and file size:

The frontier has a 300 dpi output, and as such has fairly modest input resolution requirements.  It does a remarkable job scaling up from lower input resolutions; however, if the over all pixel dimensions of a file are too small, smoothness and overall quality can not be maintained.

Below is a table that shows the optimum pixel count for the highest quality images at the print sizes shown.
